3 Excellent Stays! The staff was amazingly friendly and polite! The rooms are generic modern hotel rooms, and kept immaculately clean. The rooms on the Southwest have doors leading out to a small patio area, overlooking the golf course and distant mountains. The long summer sunsets over the mountains are priceless!Brian GRead more
A good hotel to stay in the west of IcelandA relaxing retreat-style hotel built on an 18-hole golf course. Each room opens to a patio. Wi-Fi access, local television, hairdryer, under the floor geothermal heating. Beds were medium firm and provided a good nights rest. Restaurant has an excellent menu and many tasty local food selections. Highly recommended hotel.PA-Short-TermRead more
After travelling around Iceland we found HAMARWe spent 2 days in the hotel and it was great. At night we looked at Aurora Borealis from the warm hot tubs on the cold October and was an experience to remember. In the morning the breakfast in the nice dining room was great watching the sun rise! The hotel is high and the landscape great. The quiet rooms were also very good.Juan LRead more
Great Place To See The Northern LightsThe beds are the most comfortable that we have had since arriving in Iceland... The Owner was very friendly giving us great advice on what to see the following day. Dinner was delicious but the best was the natural water hot tubs. We were able to sit out very comfortably and watch the spectacular northern lights.FilmNeilRead more
