For Iceland, this place was top notchDefinitely the best hotel of the 7 places we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. It was beautiful, clean and the rooms were VERY modern in comparison to everywhere else in Iceland pretty much (outside of Reykjavik, that is). The price was also great for the city, so I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Akureyri.Mrs SmartsRead more

Loved itThe rooms are rather small, but very well designed. The hotel is quite new and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms reflected that. The staff was very accommodating and the lobby was a great place to meet and hang out. The location is good, right next to one of the greatest swimming pools in Iceland, and a relatively short walk downtown.GudjonGRead more
Warm winter wonderlandMe my husband and our 2 kids stayed at icelandair Hotel Akureyri at the first weekend in February for a ski holiday - and had a wonderful time. The hotel is greatly located for skiing and other activities for the Akureyri area. It´s short walking distance from the town center and right by the nice swimming pool they have in Akureyri.soley eRead more
