The Food and Fun Festival is a yearly Reykjavik event, where numerous participating restaurants play host to the cuisine of celebrated guest chefs. Specially prepared menus are created for the event and the restaurants are tightly packed during the Festival.
Icelandair Hotels participate in the festival with our Reykjavik-based restaurants, Geiri Smart Restaurant at Canopy Reykjavík, VOX at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica and Slippbarinn at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina, offering their own unique emphasis and take on the festival.

Brandon Baltzley has worked in numerous Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City and Chicago before starting his own thing. Brandon opened a local-centric restaurant in Michigan City, Indiana, celebrating regional American dining – something very representative for Brandon's vision and style, being a voice for native and nomadic cuisines. Currently Brandon is co-chef alongside his wife at their restaurant The Buffalo Jump in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. Read more about Brandon on foodandfun.is.
Marcus is the Executive Chef at the two Michelin star Restaurant Frantzén in Stockholm. His passion for cooking began at an early age, growing up in Gothenburg, Sweden. Marcus is educated at Sweden's finest culinary institutes. In 2006, Marcus worked for the Consulate General of Sweden in New York City – representing Swedish gastronomy to celebrities, royalties, politicians and Noble Prize Winners among others.

In Ryan's own words, his cooking is "seasonal American with European roots". Today he is the executive chef at Ripple in Washington, D.C.. Before starting at Ripple, Ryan worked with the restaurateur and chef Richard Sandoval, developing menus for his renown hotel restaurants. Ryan graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, Florida, and has worked in numerous great restaurants around the US such as the Michelin one-star restaurant Caviar Russe.
