On Culture Night, held to celebrate the founding of Reykjavík, Reykjavík residents and visitors celebrate and enjoy a large variety of events in city streets and squares, back gardens, museums, restaurants and residential homes. There is a wide variety of cultural and artistic activity and the whole family can choose from a selection of admission-free events to enjoy.
