Icelandic Modern Art Exhibition at Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir | Icelandair Hotels

The artists Snæbjörn Birgir Birgisson and Helgi Thorgils Friðjónsson have on show an exhibition at the Hotel Loftleiðir. The exhibition is a part of their participation in the Art-room hotel project. There do also have an exhibition on show at the National Gallery "Angurværð í minni". The works that have been attached at the hotel are all recent and many of which have not been shown before, in this country. Illusion, the artists image and the beauty of the world is prominent factor in the art work on show. The pieces are shown in open areas at the hotel and accessible by visitors. Access is free.

At Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir we have designated 13 rooms to commemorate some of the most distinguished Icelandic contemporary artists and their works. These special Art Rooms have been designed to arouse your interest in Icelandic contemporary art.

The following artists are represented at Hotel Loftleidir: Kristin Gunnlaugsdottir, Þordis Adalsteinsdottir, Hulda Hakon, Olof Nordal, Ruri, Ragna Robertsduttir, Hildur Bjaradottir, Helgi Þorgils Fridjonsson, Sigurdur Arni, Eggert Petursson, Georg Gudni, Birgir Snaebjorn Birgisson and Sigtryggur Bjarni Baldvinsson.

We are very proud to be working with all these great artists and to have The Icelandic modern art Exhibition on show in open areas at Hotel Loftleidir, we welcome our guests to visit the exhibition.
