She has over 16 years of experience in the hotel business and has been managing Icelandair Hotel Flughotel since 2000. Her main passion is travelling around Iceland, no matter the season. She goes mountain hiking and enjoys family trips, staying in summer cabins and camper vans. Her favourite place is the nearby Reykjanesviti, which is Iceland’s oldest and biggest lighthouse. The tranquillity and beauty is one of the main attractions of the lighthouse and Bergthora has been going there since she was a toddler.
