On an 18-hole golf course, Hotel Hamar is situated in the beautiful West of Iceland. Its breathtaking scenery provides a tranquil and Heavenly setting for this leisurely retreat, far away from the hassles of busy life. However, what can be found nearby are such delights as waters and glaciers, with the Snaefellsnes peninsula in easy reach. Surrounded by mountains and in the vicinity of other golf courses, the hotel is ideally placed towards the spectacular western coast.

Taxi – Taxis are available at the airport terminal 24 hours a day so can get you to the hotel in good time and at your convenience.

Driving – If you’re driving yourself, please ask for directions at the airport information desk.

Checking in and out

Our reception staff are here to greet you as you arrive.

Check-in time is from 14:00 hours onwards. Please contact us anytime up to the night before the arrival date if you want your room earlier in the day.

Check-out time is up until 12:00 hours on the day of departure.
